The Hotel Posada El Paraiso is an old house, more than 100 years old, typical from this part of Chiapas transformed in 1992 into a small and comfortable family hotel. The idea took place in Switzerland when Teresa and I were living in a small town called Montreux on the border of Lake of Geneva.

Location: The Hotel "El Paraiso" is located in the heart of historic San Cristóbal de Las Casas. A wonderful renovation of a 100 years old colonial house. The owners Daniel and Teresa Suter Rodríguez offer you warm hospitality and invite you to taste the Swiss and Mexican specialties in their restaurant "El Eden".

Rooms: 12 bedrooms with heater, telephone and private bathroom
Our available hotel accommodation is as follows:
2 triple rooms ( with one single bed and two twin beds )
2 double rooms ( with two twin beds each )
1 double room ( with two single beds )
3 double rooms ( with a king size bed )
4 double rooms ( with a twin bed and a single bed each one )

Hotel Facilities: • Restaurant with national and international kitchen, with Swiss specialties like cheese fondue , fondue with meat and raclett.
• Our restaurant has a capacity for 40 persons inside or 30 persons in the garden.
• Restaurant-bar hours from 7.00 to 23.00 daily
